Campone is a small village in the township of Tramonti di Sotto, and only a few kilometres away from Maniago  and Spilimbergo,
 in the province of Pordenone. The village, just about 500m over sea level,  is surrounded by imposing mountains, and the two
brooks nearby offer wonderful opportunities for both fishing  and swimming. Besides the multitude of natural splendours nearby,
from Campone it is possible to make superb day-trips to such characteristic cities as Udine, Cividale, Trieste and Spilimbergo.
